The Operating Departments are located on our two main sites - St Peter’s Hospital (in Chertsey) and Ashford Hospital (in Ashford, near Staines), with a total of 20 operating theatres including trauma and orthopedics, urology, ENT, ophthalmology, bariatric, maternity and more. The theatre team is now recruiting enthusiastic and highly motivated RN to work within our Recovery room at St Peter’s site. You will be responsible for high standards of clinical practice, working within national and local guidelines.

We are looking for candidates with excellent communication skills, a desire to learn and have a passion to develop and improve our services. Previous recovery experience is welcome and we also support new nurses with no experience but with a passion for post-operative care.

We aim to guide all new graduates and ensure they have a structured preceptorship program and supported period of transition.

We support staff to continue their professional development and are able to support our practitioners to develop further skills.

We provide in house training for our fantastic staff and all team members are given the opportunity to attend conferences and training off site with links with University of Surrey, Kingston and Brighton Universities which offer courses such as leadership, supported learning in Practice (mentorship), recovery courses, and many more.

Our brilliant team of friendly professionals create a fun and varied place to work. We are a train ride from London and as an employee you will benefit from 5% London weighting as well as many other staff benefits at local amenities.
