PAEDIATRICS/ GENERAL SURGERY/ RHEUMATOLOGY

Barnsley Hospital invites enthusiastic and capable doctors to apply for the above rotational post, rotating through Paediatrics, General Surgery and Rheumatology. The successful candidate will be appointed on a fixed term contract for 12 months and will be expected to participate in the full on call rota. The placements are:

 

Paediatrics 3rd August 2022 – 6th December 2022

General Surgery 7th December 2022 – 4th April 2023

Rheumatology 5th April 2023 – 1st August 2023

 

This post does not attract educational approval from Health Education England, but the successful candidate will have the opportunity to participate in local teaching/ training.

The cost of the DBS must be met by the successful candidate through salary deduction. DBS charges for adverts placed from 1st June are as follows:

 

Standard check: £18.00 + administration cost of £3.69 = deduction from salary as a one off payment.

 

Enhanced check: £38.00 + administration cost of £3.69 = £13.69 deduction from first month’s salary, then deduction from salary over the following three months.
