An exciting highly remunerated permanent salaried GP role has arisen with the opportunity to be part of the Primary Care family within the established DHC GP Federation.

You will receive mentorship from experienced clinical directors and be provided with the opportunity to develop specialist clinical interests with consultant supervision as part of our wider portfolio of outpatient and community services.

The role is primarily based at Pond Tail Surgery in Godstone, working with a small, friendly, and professional practice team that provides high quality services to 7,000 patients. You will be supported by an experienced clinical lead GP, in addition to our team of GPs, nurse practitioner, nurses, pharmacist, first contact physiotherapist and care coordinator.

We believe that general practice is a fun and supportive NHS environment and we achieve this through highly developed systems and processes. We are flexible with the number of sessions worked to accommodate family and personal commitments. We are keen to offer support and encourage personal development of all our staff and offer an in-house structured education program.

Benefits:

Competitive renumeration and benefits packages:

  • £88,000 FTE (£11,000 per session) – suitable for newly qualified GPs
  • £96,000 FTE (£12,000 per session) – suitable for GPs 1 year post CCT and newly qualified GPs who wish to take on additional responsibilities
  • £102,000 FTE + bonus (£12,750 per session + bonus) – suitable for experienced GPs, shared clinical lead duties
  • Support in progression through the above scale
  • £10,000 Golden Handshake to stay for 2 years (25% paid every 6 months, pro rata) to recognise that you will be helping to influence and develop the Surgery and the services offered to patients over the next few years
  • Performance based bonus with clinical lead role
  • Paid clinical leadership session inclusive of job plan
  • Full medical indemnity fees covered
  • 6 weeks annual leave, 1 week study leave, study budget
  • Support and mentorship from Clinical Lead GP and DHC Clinical Directors
  • GP Trainer / F2 grant when training
  • Support to join the GP Fellowship Scheme
  • Low administrative burden

About us:

DHC GP Federation is a patient focused and pro-active community-based provider with strong links to all the GP’s working within our Federation of 4 Primary Care Networks including 11 GP Practices across Surrey, from Epsom to South Tandridge.

We were awarded the contract to run Godstone GP Practice from 1st January 2022 and are looking to increase the team of clinicians and GP’s working within the Practice to re-establish the service after a period of considerable change. DHC has a strong commitment to delivering high quality community-oriented services, and to working in partnership with service users, carers, health and social care agencies and voluntary agencies.
