The Trust offers interesting opportunities for professional and personal development in the friendly environment of a small but exceptionally well-equipped hospital in the heart of the Cotswolds. We are a growing business and everything we do is about putting people first, whether that be delivering exceptional care and support for our patients or providing growth and development opportunities for our team.

The Day Surgery department is a small busy unit comprising of one operating theatre, anaesthetic room and first /second stage recovery areas. It provides multiple surgical specialities (ophthalmology, gynaecology, orthopaedics and pain management to name a few).

All staff will be expected, at times, to work in the Outpatient Department and Procedure Room.

The post holder will be an ambassador for the Trust, delivering care in an efficient, patient focused and professional way.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for an experienced Theatre Nurse who will already be first level registered, and able to demonstrate a good level of clinical skills and up to date knowledge. • A flexible approach to work, and a positive attitude

An additional teaching and assessing qualification, audit skills and experience of delivering change management initiatives would be an advantage. Previous experience in our surgical specialities would be beneficial but training can be provided in house.

The Package

We can offer flexible hours up to 27 hours per week. Renumeration will be determined based on the skills and experience offered by the successful candidate.

The Hospital offers staff benefits which include pension scheme (continuation in the NHS pension is possible subject to pension rules), discretionary bonus scheme and a starting full-time holiday entitlement of 25 days holiday (plus Bank holidays).
