  • To be a caring, flexible and supportive place to work
  • To deliver the best value for money

‘I joined Solent NHS Trust as a HCSW in the community nursing team in Southampton and I’ve not looked back since! On joining, I have received comprehensive training in tissue viability, insulin administration and all areas involved with my role. I have also been lucky enough to have been supported by my managers to embark in further training and development. It’s such a brilliant opportunity to train, learn and work all at the same time while continuing with my 30 hours contract.

I feel very lucky to have had all these opportunities and I’m very grateful to Solent NHS Trust for their support. I would recommend anyone who would like a career as a HCSW or in Nursing to apply and find out where a career with Solent NHS Trust could take them.’
