Full or part time role, based at Dorking Community Hospital and Holmhurst Medical Centre, Redhill.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join our small Nursing Team providing high quality Outpatient healthcare services to patients within Surrey.
The role we are recruiting for is responsible for providing clinical support to the Consultants and Medical Staff of DHC.
The successful applicant would cover a wide variety of clinic specialities, gaining experience in many areas as we handle a variety of specialities within our Outpatients department. Your time will be spent providing an advanced clinical support service to the Consultants, assisting clinicians in their clinics, as well as running your own nurse led clinics. This will involve conducting vision tests, taking blood pressures, applying holter cardiac monitoring devices and height and weight measurements.
Our current regular hours of work are between 07:45 and 21:45 Monday to Friday and 08:00 -15:00 Saturday. Saturday shifts are shared within the nursing team and it is likely that the successful candidate would be required to work 1 weekend in 4. The nursing team consists of 7 people, with a mixture of registered nurses and healthcare assistants.
We hold clinics across 3 locations and ability to drive and to have your own means of transportation would be highly desirable.
