We are looking an organised and reliable person with excellent customer care skills to join the Southampton Community Discharge Hub as a Team Administrator. You will be working as part of a small administrative team supporting the flow of patients being discharged from Southampton General Hospital who require care and support.

You will have great communication and interpersonal skills and will need to be well organised, flexible and adaptable. Previous experience of working in an office environment is essential, and experience of working in the NHS or Social Services is helpful. You will be part of the team ensuring the day to day smooth running of the Hub, and supporting all the teams in the Hub with their administrative needs.

You will need to be confident in IT including Microsoft Office 365, especially Outlook, Teams and Excel. You will have an NVQ Level 3 in Business Administration or equivalent experience, and Maths and English GCSE

This post is part of a service set up as a response to Covid-19. It is currently based at One Guildhall Square in the centre of Southampton. The post is full time and you will be working one weekend in three.
