The Solent NHS Trust Estates Premises Team in Portsmouth are seeking an enthusiastic and customer focused Receptionist / Administrator. This role is an exciting opportunity to join a forward-thinking Reception Team at a time of exciting change within the NHS.

This role will see the successful candidate based at St Mary’s Hospital in Portsmouth, working on the Community Outpatient Reception Desk working15 hours per week on Monday and Tuesdays.

The successful candidate will be a highly motivated individual capable of working independently and as part of a wider team. Providing a first-class “front of house” meet and greet service to patients, visitors, and staff attending services on the Outpatients Reception located on 1st Floor of B Block, contributing to the overall efficient and effective running of all designated services. Working with clinical and non-clinical staff to ensure that any issues are raised immediately to maintain the level of service to patient and visitors.

They will be approachable and highly customer focused and take pride in the attractive appearance and smooth operation of the Outpatient Reception area.

Under the guidance of the Reception Supervisor, they will support the operation of site reception areas which is a customer focused highly utilised environment.
