An opportunity has arisen to join our energetic and vibrant 0 – 19 team within Solent NHS Trust.

Our 0-19 Public Health Service is made up of Health Visitors, School Nurses, Health Care Assistants and Business Support who, together provide an essential comprehensive support to all our children in Southampton from birth to 19yrs. We are looking for someone who is passionate about customer / patient experience.

You would be working alongside Clinical and Business Support staff and have regular communication with Parents/Carers. Your work will involve working on Systm1 (full training provided) to input information, therefore, we are looking for a motivated and efficient Business Support Worker who :

  • is a good team player
  • is able to use own initiative and apply a common sense approach to problems
  • has a meticulous eye for detail, an enquiring mind and a willingness to learn
  • has strong communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels
  • is organised, able to multi task and work under pressure
  • has the ability to use Microsoft applications, Excel, Word and Outlook

We are offering a full-time contract (37.5 hours) within a supportive team environment and full training will be given. You will also receive an annual leave entitlement of between 27 to 33 days depending on length of service plus any bank holidays.
