Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust (LPT) provides a range of community health, mental health and learning disability services for people of all ages. Delivered through over 100 settings from inpatient wards to out in the community, our 6,500 staff serves over 1 million people living in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland.


An exciting opportunity has arisen for IM&T Facilitators within the Project Team at Leicestershire Health Informatics Services.

The role in LHIS is to be responsible for working with and supporting LLR CCG’s, GP Practices, PCNS and our SLA customers. Acting as a source of expertise for LHIS, CCG’s, LLR PCL and GP practice staff requiring analytical support with primary care-related data and other information requirements. The role will support centralised data collection processes from primary care clinical systems (EMIS Web and SystmOne).

Ensuring LLR CCG, LLR PCL, GP practices, and PCNS are supported in producing and delivering accurate data of the highest quality whenever statistical returns and performance indicators require data sourced from primary care systems, including good clinical coding.

The role will require supporting our client base with Change management, processing mapping and mobilising new solutions for upcoming services.

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:

  • EMIS Web & SystmOne, System configuration knowledge and experience
  • SNOMED coding experience
  • Previous NHS clinical System Testing knowledge or experience
  • Ability to liaise with staff at all levels (clinical, management and administrative staff) both verbally and written
  • Able to relate technical information to non-technical people
