The Treetops Centre based in Cosham, provides care and support to victims (adults, young people and children) of rape or sexual assault, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year and we have an exciting opportunity for a full time (37.5 hours) Male Crisis Worker/Promotion Co-ordinator to come and join our team. Working patterns may include night shifts, twilights and weekend working. You, as the successful applicant will be required to work flexibly and form part of the Out of Hours 24/7 Crisis Worker rota.

We have an expert team, working very closely together with Hampshire Constabulary, Sexual Offence Examiners and other statutory and voluntary sector organisations throughout Hampshire and the Isle of Wight, and nationally.

The successful applicant will have the ability to remain calm in a crisis and provide a Crisis Worker service to victims of rape and sexual assault within the context of a non-judgmental and confidential service.

Excellent written and verbal communication is essential and must be competent in Microsoft office packages such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

You will also have had experience of working in a multi-disciplinary environment where you will have worked as part of a team. The successful candidate will also work with the SARC Manager to achieve and maintain the Quality Standards for supporting Male Survivors and carry out targeted male-specific and culturally sensitive promotional work to increase the number of males accessing the SARC service.

Having a full UK driving license and access to the use of a car is essential for this role.
