Solent NHS Trust are looking for a Chef/Team Leader who has catering experience, and is looking for an opportunity to help improve the patient, staff and visitor catering experience at Western Community Hospital.
The post holder will provide cover for all areas of the catering function both for patients and in our staff and visitor retail outlet. The role will require you to help lead a small team and be responsible for ordering, completing paperwork, staff 1-2-1's and rostering as well as other role specific tasks. You will be part of a highly motivated team which is dedicated to providing a clean, safe and caring environment for patients.
The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills, motivation and an ability to work within a team. A full programme of training and development will be available to the successful candidate. This would suit someone with a caring outlook who sees that mealtime, whilst in hospital, is a vital element to health recovery.
