An exciting opportunity has arisen with our Performance Team for an Analytics Lead to cover maternity leave for 12 months.

We are looking for high quality candidates with experience of information analysis, performance monitoring and data assurance to drive service development and improvement. The successful candidate will be self-motivated, proactive and passionate about utilising visualisation tools as a way of communicating information to non-information colleagues within the organisation.

An enthusiastic team player, you will act as the key link between clinical services and the Performance Team, building strong working relationships with colleagues from the Information Systems and Business Intelligence Teams. Excellent communication skills are key to delivering the objectives of this role.

The role requires technical, analytical and organisational skills to provide timely and accurate management and performance information, investigate complex performance and data quality issues, and provide assistance and advice as required on all information issues relating to the services in order to help deliver the highest quality care to our patients.

Applicants must demonstrate essential requirements from the job description, key elements of this include;

  • Strong analytical, numerical, and statistical skills.
  • Experience of data manipulation using a range of data formats and tools
  • Experience in using Excel / SQL / PowerBi
  • Excellent communication and report writing skills

This is an exciting time to join our Performance Team as we move into a new way of working alongside our Business Intelligence colleagues, with an emphasis on integrated working and shared responsibility. The team operate Agile working, providing you the flexibility to work from both our Trust Headquarters in Southampton, and from home.
