Trainee/ Qualified Advanced Clinical Practitioner (AdCP) 8a – Urology (Benign) – Full time

Do you have a passion for learning and developing services? Do you have a surgical / theatre background and urology experience that you would like to transfer to a new role? We are looking to recruit a dynamic and self-motivated individual who can support the development of the urology service, could that role suit you?

Ideally the successful candidate will be a fully qualified Advanced Clinical Practitioner, although if you are not a qualified AdCP we would still welcome your application under the Annexe 21 Training programme.

The AdCP will be required to use their specialist knowledge in working as an autonomous professional to assess complex conditions, request investigations, interpret results, plan interventions, and evaluate effectiveness of treatments to a designated caseload of patients.

The role will require a high degree of professional judgement and the individual should have history taking, physical and clinical assessment, and clinical decision-making qualifications. The individual will also need to be able to undertake independent prescribing within the scope of their professional practice. If these modules are not currently held we are willing to support your development and learning to attain these modules.

The successful candidate will need to provide cover for existing AdCP. Please refer to Job Description for full requirements, roles, and responsibilities.
