Would you like to work in a frontline service aimed at maximising peoples’ independence and quality of life?

An opportunity have arisen for a motivated person to join the Central Community Independence Service (CCIS) as a Rehab Support Worker. The service provides rehabilitation, reablement, specialist falls intervention, sensory rehabilitation and social care assessment for people with long term conditions and/or recovering from illness or injury.

You will need to have at least one year’s previous experience of working within a care setting and will have worked within a rehabilitation or reablement setting. You will need great interpersonal skills and positive communication skills and be able to problem solve. We will provide support and training to help develop your knowledge and skills.

We have a full time position available within the Central Locality of Southampton City. Service hours are 8.30am – 5.00pm Monday – Friday. For this post, you will need to hold a full UK driving licence and have access to the use of a car on a daily basis.
