Bladder and Bowel Care Service
£18,870 - £19,918 per annum pro rata

We are looking to recruit an Administrator based within the Bladder and Bowel Care Service in our central Exeter hub.

This is an exciting opportunity for a committed and motivated individual to work alongside a dedicated team, which provides specialist nursing care to patients of all age groups across Devon. The successful candidate will be part of a Devonwide administration team providing administrative and secretarial support for a team of Specialist Nurses and Physios.

We are looking for an administrator who is able to assist with all administrative tasks.

The post holder will be the first point of contact for those contacting the Service including patients, health professionals and members of the public, working in a busy office environment. An opportunity exists for the post holder to make recommendations for service improvement by working alongside admin staff and attending administration meetings.

The successful candidate must be experienced in the use of MS Office applications, and have general IT and office skills. The post holder will be expected to use the local patient administration system to book patient appointments and full training will be provided. The role will predominantly include general administration duties.

The Bladder and Bowel Care Service is a Countywide Service and travel for training and staff meetings and occasional working at other sites to cover colleagues will be expected.

We provide support to avoid hospital admissions, and if an admission is necessary, we try to make each patient’s stay in hospital as short and effective as possible before working with them on a safe discharge home.
