We are looking for an enthusiastic person to join the Radiology Team as a Diagnostic Radiographer Apprentice via the MSc route.
You will be paid at band 3 for the first two years, band 4 for the third year and will be band 5 on completion.
Band 3 - £20,330 - £21,777 (If you are internal you will remain on your current pay point)
Band 4 - £22,549
On Completion Band 5 - £ 25,655
The training will involve a 2 year programme with the University of Exeter whilst completing all practical aspects with us at NDDH as our employee; on completion you will hold a MSc degree in Diagnostic Radiography and Imaging and will qualify as a band 5 radiographer.
The post holder will need to have knowledge of working within the healthcare environment, they will demonstrate organisation, initiative and flexible-thinking, an ability to learn and work in a team, and enjoy a challenge. You must also be able to work a typical roster pattern including out of hours shifts and weekends.
The post holder must be willing and able to undertake the necessary training required to complete the course. This is a fast track entry route completing the course in 2 years instead of 3 and so there will be a lot of training and study at Masters level.
