We have the opportunity to recruit Musculoskeletal Physiotherapists, who would work within our MSK Physiotherapy Teams across Portsmouth

The Solent MSK service prides itself on developing individuals and this would be an opportunity for individuals who see their future in MSK. We have proven record that our junior MSK staff become our seniors and leaders of the future.

Progressing to Advanced Clinical Practice is a top priority within the Solent MSK Service.

There are many opportunities for development with high standard teaching and supervision regularly. You would have the time to consolidate skills and further develop as the service is actively involved in research, quality improvement and service development.

With the introduction of First Contact Practitioner it is an exciting time to be in MSK service delivery. We are rolling out FCP provision across the south coast and successful candidates would have the opportunity to be involved and develop in this new initiative.

We have a good support network and clinical teams are led by our MSK Consultants in collaboration with our Pathway Leads, Clinical Specialists and Team Leaders in pathways. We have specialties in Pelvic Health, Hands, Adolescent MSK and Hydrotherapy within our Portsmouth localities. We have a varied case-load with primary care, self-referrals and trauma / post-operative case-load to give individuals a wide exposure to MSK patients.

We run groups for Lower limb, Fibromyalgia and Combined Psychology Physiotherapy Program CPPP and have great links with Escape Pain in the local area and third sector providers

The current roles within our East locality of Portsmouth are at the Queen Alexandra Hospital and St Mary's Community Campus.
