A2i (Assessment to Intervention) team is a multi-professional team consisting of Mental Health Nurses, Social Workers, Clinical Psychologists, Consultant Psychiatrists and Occupational Therapists. A2i works closely with other mental health and community services to support people to recover from mental health illness through short intervention and/or referral to other services.
A2i is looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated Band 5 Occupational Therapist. Occupational Therapy is recognised as having an essential and core role within the multi-disciplinary team and is at the forefront of developing recovery and therapeutic interventions.
The successful applicant will be responsible for a caseload of patients experiencing mental health illness; providing person centred assessments and interventions using evidence-based models of practice. They will have responsibility for formulating intervention plans and supporting junior staff to deliver interventions to patients with complex needs in their own homes and communities.
