South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust (SWASFT) is an organisation committed to delivering a high standard of emergency, urgent and critical care to our patients across the South West of England. We are a research-active Trust and have celebrated an impactful and successful research output over recent years, with a focus on building capacity & capability to support delivery of a wide-ranging portfolio of pre-hospital research studies moving forward.

We are seeking to fill this role roles to support the delivery of our current research programme, including but not exclusively:

  • EVADE SVT study

You will ensure that all studies are conducted in accordance with the study protocols and contracts as well as relevant legislation and national guidance. The post sits within the Research, Audit & Improvement Team but w

will require liaison with Trust Operational Staff and Management teams, as well as partner universities and the other participating NHS Trusts.

You will be a HCPC registered Paramedic or UK registered healthcare professional, with more than 2 years post qualification experience. You will have an interest in pre-hospital research and a wish to shape the care provided to patients in the future.

You will be required to work across the Trust’s geographical area and you will be provided with the IT equipment required for the post. You will be required to have access to your own transport in order to travel within the ambulance service region and on occasion, outside the region.

Please note this role does not attract an unsocial hour’s payment.
