Surrey Heartlands CCG is looking for a talented individual to join the Operations and Recovery team to focus on delivering pathway redesign and demand management.

The Associate Director for Outpatients & Demand Management will support a number of clinical networks and pathway redesign. The primary focus of this post will be on demand reduction and referral management. Delivering the operating standards for 22/23 is a key element. These include reducing follow-ups, increasing the use of specialist advice and guidance and redesigning pathways to utilise out-of-hospital services as much as possible.

We are looking for an experienced and driven leader, with excellent interpersonal skills and background in leading large-scale change. Ideally the candidate would have experience in the diagnostics field, although other clinical and/or operational experience would be acceptable.

The successful candidate will join a friendly and supportive environment within excellent cross collaboration with a range of stakeholders and organisations across the Surrey footprint, supporting new opportunities for development and innovation. The postholder will be expected to work closely with other leads within the South East and the Regional NHSEI Planned Care team. There will also be close links with primary and secondary care providers within Surrey Heartlands, Surrey and Sussex Cancer Alliance and other neighbouring CCGs/Systems.
