We are looking for a senior manager to fulfil our Lead Freedom to Speak Up Guardian position, and who will continue to lead and promote Solent’s acclaimed ‘Speaking Up’ culture .

The successful applicant will

  • role is responsible for developing the FTSU vision and strategy where speaking up is recognised and valued, driving learning and improvements across the Trust
  • provide leadership to our established network of FTSU Guardians
  • lead on the assurance and reporting process – both externally to the National Guardian’s Office and internally to the Trust Board and its Committees
  • have strong and clear communication skills with the ability to confidently liaise with all levels of staff, including front line and Board members

Mediation skills would be of benefit in this role, as well as previous experience of restorative practice, but are not essential.
