Bank Staff Nurse

We are currently recruiting to our Trust Temporary Staffing Team - Bank on Us and we are seeking Registered Nurses with a valid NMC registration that have been qualified for at least 6 months with acute hospital nursing experience. You must work well in a team and be reliable and enthusiastic with excellent communication skills, as well as adaptable and flexible to changing situations, working within Trust policies and the NMC Code of Conduct.

We have bank shifts in the following areas at St Peters Hospital:

  • Urgent and Emergency care
  • Medical Wards including Acute Medical Unit, Cardiology, Senior Adults Medical Services, Gastroenterology, Respiratory and Stroke
  • Surgical Wards including the Surgical Assessment Unit and Surgical HDU
  • Trauma and Orthopedic wards and the Rowley Bristow Unit
  • Intensive Care Unit with a combination of Intensive care beds and Medical HDU beds

Across both Ashford and St Peters Sites we have bank shifts in the following areas:

  • Ophthalmology
  • Radiology
  • Theatres
  • Outpatients

Ashford Hospital facilities include:

  • Day Surgery Unit
  • Elective Orthopedic and Surgical Units
  • Intermediate Care medical ward

The Trust also has clinical services in the following areas where we also have bank shifts available:

  • Woking Community Hospital – Bradley Unit (Stroke and Neuro Rehab)
  • Walton Community Hospital – Oatlands ward

Bank on Us Hourly Pay Rates - depending on experience – rate includes high cost area payment and WTD payment:

Week day - £15.44 - £18.98

Saturday and night rate - £19.85 - £24.40

Sunday and bank holiday rate - £24.26 - £29.82

What we offer: Weekly pay! (every Thursday). Regular or occasional shifts (full-time and/or part-time) to suit you in line with service needs. Book shifts on-line via Locum’s Nest or call our friendly team to book, paid induction time, mandatory training and updates, NHS Pension Scheme, free uniform, and support with Revalidation and CPD if required.
