Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust (LPT) provides a range of community health, mental health and learning disability services for people of all ages. Delivered through over 100 settings from inpatient wards to out in the community, our 6,500 staff serves over 1 million people living in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland.

We at Leicestershire Partnership Trust have an exciting opportunity, based at Braunstone Health and Social Care Centre, for a permanent full time Administrative Team Lead to join our Integrated Nursing and Therapy hub.

The role of Team Leader is key to the operational delivery of supporting administrative services within our Integrated Nursing and Therapy hubs.

The following skills are essential to the role:

  • Excellent planning and organisational skills to ensure delivery of a cohesive service.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience of working as a team leader/line manager for a function or department.
  • Experience of managing staff including performance, absence, HR processes and procedures.
  • Ability to demonstrate complex problem solving skills relating to the area of responsibility.
  • Ability to work corporately within a large, multi-professional team.
  • Ability to work within, understand and interpret policies, procedures and guidelines.

You will need to demonstrate strong leadership and motivational skills, supporting staff working across a number of differing work streams. The ability to work calmly under pressure is essential to the role.

Operating SystmOne, a national NHS electronic patient record system, is a key requirement of this role. Whilst full training will be provided, there is an expectation that applicants would need to be skilled and confident in adapting to work with complex electronic systems.

Although this role is predominantly based at Braunstone, there may be a need for some travel requirements therefore public transport commuting is not suitable for this role.

For rostered areas, these are set in advance at a team level and you will join an established roster. Your rostered shifts will be confirmed to you when arranging your start date.
