This is an exciting opportunity to join the CAMHS Business Support Team for the CAMHS service.

We are seeking a motivated receptionist who wishes to join us as a Business Support Administrator to work within our CAMHS Service. You will need to have excellent attention to detail, are able to work within a team and/ or independently, must have strong communication skills and a willingness to learn. This role is full-time at 37.5 hours per week.

Experience of mental health services is advantageous, but not essential, as the team will be supporting young people in times of crisis and therefore post holder will be required to manage sensitive and potentially distressing information.

The role will include meeting and greeting service users and other visitors to the service. Using the patient electronic System for passing messages and checking patient information in a timely manner and on a daily basis so being confident using IT is essential. The role is very varied and requires a fit and energetic person who is willing to be flexible and keen to learn new skills.

The successful applicant will need to have good time management skills, be self-motivated with a positive attitude. In addition to these skills you will need to be patient focused and have a professional, calm and welcoming telephone manner as there can at times be some challenging and difficult calls and callers. You will be required to take accurate messages and update patient records.
