360 Assurance is an NHS hosted service – hosted by Leicestershire Partnership Trust. We deliver high quality internal audit, assurance and consultancy work to a large number of organisations, predominantly within the NHS and its public/third sector partners.

We are a not-for-profit organisation which has NHS values at the heart of what we do. We offer highly-valued flexible working arrangements, a competitive salary and full Agenda for Change Terms and Conditions.

We are seeking an ambitious and motivated internal audit assistant client manager with either an internal or external audit and assurance background with excellent communication skills.

As an Assistant Client Manager, you will support the delivery of high quality internal audit services, bringing innovation to support our clients as they tackle the increasingly challenging NHS agenda. You will contribute to the development of our services and support the management team. The successful candidate will support and deputise for Client Managers, attending Audit Committees and developing programmes of work from agreed audit plans, and will have responsibility for managing a small number of staff.

In return, we offer a professional career with huge variety in the work undertaken, flexible working arrangements and the opportunity to work with NHS organisations at a senior level supporting improvements to the NHS. NHS terms and conditions apply to this post, including the NHS pension scheme.

360 Assurance are committed to the equality, diversity and inclusion of all candidates and we welcome applications from anyone who meets the essential criteria.

We operate within South Yorkshire and the East Midlands with offices across these areas. Although based at one location, travel across the client base will be expected. You will need to be a car driver to enable travel between NHS and other locations across the East Midlands and South Yorkshire (use of public transport is unlikely to be practical for this post).

You can find out more about a career in internal audit on the Institute of Internal Auditors website.

For an informal discussion, please contact Ruth Vernon (Deputy Director – Internal Audit: South Yorkshire) on 07775 007153.

Details of our benefits, leadership behaviours and other important information are contained in the documents linked to our advert.

For rostered areas, these are set in advance at a team level and you will join an established roster. Your rostered shifts will be confirmed to you when arranging your start date.

We will consider requests to work alternative hours or vary working patterns in line with our flexible working policy.

To make the most of your application, we may consider appointable applicants for similar vacancies in different locations where this is appropriate and meets our mutual requirements.

For all substantive roles new staff (excluding medical staff) are appointed subject to a 6 month probationary period (see Probation Policy).

We aim to develop a workforce that reflects our community. We actively implement equal opportunities in employment and service delivery and seek people who share our commitment. We strongly encourage applications from all sections of the community, particularly from underrepresented groups.

All jobs will require permission to work in the UK.

For all jobs the cost of any DBS disclosure required will be met by the individual. This will be deducted from salary once started.

Applicants ‘at risk’ within the local NHS who meet essential criteria will have preference for interview.
