CAMHS inpatients are pleased to be able to offer the opportunity for a Band 2 Healthcare Support Worker to come and join our expanding team

We have a new and exciting opportunity to work within our new purpose built unit, The Beacon at the Bradgate site at Leicester Glenfield Hospital for 15 acute mental health and eating disorder patients aged 13- 18. We are looking for motivated, proactive, enthusiastic and caring professionals to expand our well established team.

The role of the HCSW will be to work as part of the nursing team and support the young people through their recovery with both their physical health and their mental health needs.

Experience of working with children and young people or within mental health services is desirable as we are aware that skills are transferrable. Experience of working within the care setting is essential to be successful in this application.

Please note this position is full-time (37.5 hours a week) to be worked across a 7 day rotation. The shift patterns on the unit are: Early- 7:30-15:30, Late- 13:30- 21:30, Night- 21:00- 8:00, with the option to long days. Applicants will need to be committed to work flexibly.

For rostered areas, these are set in advance at a team level and you will join an established roster. Your rostered shifts will be confirmed to you when arranging your start date.
