Are you an enthusiastic, flexible, reliable team player with excellent communication skills?

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Personal Assistant to join our dynamic Special Care Dental Service who deliver routine and urgent dental care to patients, adults and children who are unable to access care in the General Dental Services due to their additional needs. This includes adults and children with a physical, sensory, intellectual, mental, medical, social impairment or disability and individuals with behavioural difficulties or dental anxiety.

We are seeking an experienced Personal Assistant with excellent communication and interpersonal skills who can comfortably liaise with a wide range of people and agencies, internally and externally, on behalf of the Special Care Dental team whilst maintaining diplomacy, professionalism, confidentiality, and discretion at all times.

Key responsibilities will include minute taking, comprehensive diary and inbox management and producing high quality correspondence and documentation. The post holder may also interact with patients, relatives, and members of the public, sometimes in difficult circumstances.

This is fast-paced, interesting and demanding role; the successful applicant will need to demonstrate the ability to manage conflicting priorities, meet deadlines and be able to work using their own initiative and must have excellent planning, organisational and analytical skills and demonstrable experience in providing wide-ranging support as a PA at a senior level.

They should have a flexible and proactive approach to work, be educated to NVQ Level 4 or have equivalent relevant experience with excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
