Specialist Substance Misuse Assertive Outreach Worker (1.00wte - 3 year fixed term contract) Band 6(£32,306 - £39,027) - Secondment opportunity

A new and exciting opportunity has arisen in Thurrock to work as a Specialist Substance Misuse Assertive Outreach Worker.

This role will hold a small caseload of 15-20 individuals providing specialist substance misuse outreach support to those living in social housing or supported accommodation who have co-existing Substance Misuse and Mental Health issues.

The successful applicant will be part of the new Complex Care Team, working alongside a range of other professionals, including Psychologists, Social Workers, Mental Health Co-ordinators and Housing Officers.

The post holder will require a strong working knowledge of Substance Misuse and Mental Health and will be responsible for providing specialist substance misuse input into the support and care of individuals who often find engaging in services challenging.
