We are looking for an enthusiastic, flexible and self-motivated person to join our Reception Team in the Child & Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS), in the Portsmouth area.

The successful candidate must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills together with IT skills. The ability to work to tight deadlines is also an essential requirement of this post. You will need to be a resourceful and an organised administrator, capable of delivering high quality support to a busy service during challenging times.

Working in reception, you will be the first point of contact to all service users and therefore it is essential that you have a caring and courteous manner and enjoy meeting people, and whilst maintaining a professional attitude at all times. You will also need to be able to work unsupervised and display initiative, whilst working autonomously and as part of a team. You will be working within the Child & Adolescent Mental Health Service and working in liaison with clinicians and families. Other duties will include the typing of clinic letters, referrals and reports, booking appointments and managing waiting lists, as well as other administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, photocopying. We are seeking a highly motivated individual who can work effectively using their own initiative.
