An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Health, Safety and Security Team at South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust. Our team are responsible for providing health, safety and security advice and guidance to an NHS emergency ambulance service covering 7 counties (10,000 square miles!). As you can imagine, our workload is comprehensive and demanding!

The role is to assist the Health, Safety and Security Manager with the provision of high quality administrative support, including diary management, minute taking, incident reporting, DSE assessments, risk assessments, safety audits, safety training, management/committee reports, RIDDOR reporting and much, much more.

The ideal candidate will be an advanced user of Microsoft Office, able to work autonomously and as part of a team, a team player, will have a high degree of numerical/analytical skill, detail oriented, organised and have strong communication skills.

This is an excellent starter role in the health and safety sector as there will be the opportunity of career development for the right candidate, including undertaking IOSH Managing Safely training.

Although this role will primarily be home-based, there is an expectation that you will work from the office or attend meetings at other Trust sites occasionally; therefore a driving licence is required.
