Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust (LPT) provides a range of community health, mental health and learning disability services for people of all ages. Delivered through over 100 settings from inpatient wards to out in the community, our 6,500 staff serves over 1 million people living in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland.


The City East CMHT has an exciting opportunity for a permanent Band 6 CPN.

We provide assessment and treatment interventions for patients from 18 years of age with severe and enduring mental illness in a recovery focused way. Come and join us and be a part something great, add your skills and further develop your knowledge.

We are looking for somebody that:

  • Has an enthusiastic, can-do attitude.
  • Enjoys being a team player as well as being able to work on your own initiative.
  • Has excellent documentation skills in terms of record keeping.
  • Has previous experience of working with mental illness either in an inpatient or a community setting.
  • Are positive and enthusiastic in quality improvement initiatives.
  • Has a working knowledge of recovery principles and interventions.
  • An ability to work to tight deadlines under pressure when required.
  • The ability to manage the demands of a case load and plan diary effectively.
  • Be able to effectively support and supervise junior staff and students.

For rostered areas, these are set in advance at a team level and you will join an established roster. Your rostered shifts will be confirmed to you when arranging your start date.
