Are you looking to start your nursing career within Sexual Health Services? Or looking to develop your skills within this specialty?

We are looking for either experienced Sexual Health Nurses or Registered General Nurses or Midwives who are interested in starting their career within Sexual Health to join our services! We are a busy Level 3 integrated, open access Sexual Health Service which is Hampshire wide, where we currently have one part time vacancy covering Basingstoke and Aldershot for 24 hours per week.

Your banding is determined by your experience, all trainee posts will be offered at Band 5.

We operate a hub and spoke model of care to provide screening, diagnosis and treatment of sexually transmitted infections, HIV care, provision and ongoing management of PrEP and PEPSE, contraception including emergency contraception, vasectomy, sexual health promotion, sexual health advising and partner notification, psychosexual counselling and an outreach service. We also offer a range of specialist sexual health clinics for clients with an identified need or vulnerability.

The service offers an online screening service and an advice and signposting telephone line in addition to appointments.

The service works in partnership with GPs, social care, nurse specialists and midwives, unplanned pregnancy service and specialist young people’s services to provide the highest quality care for our patients.
