This is an excititing opportunity to join the Financial Accounting Team as a Financial Services Assistant. You will be responsible for leading and developing the accounts receivable, accounts payable and finance elements of the payroll function, line manage a finance apprentice, support the Financial Services Manager in the full range of their duties and deputise when required, along with assisting other members of the Financial Accounts team when required.

Yout will; Have a desire to work in a busy financial environment. Excellent communication skills and a real team player. Be able to hit the ground running. Have the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines whilst maintaining attention to detail. Have excellent communication, influencing and persuading skills and a proven track record in achieving results. Importantly have the ability and drive to see both routine and ad-hoc tasks through to completion.

Solent NHS Trust is a community and mental health Trust and provides care in the community across Hampshire and care in St James and St Marys hospitals in Portsmouth and the Western hospital in Southampton. The Trust's headquarters is based in Highpoint Venue, Southampton, SO19 8BR.
