A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated, dynamic and organised Band 7 practitioner to join the existing team of Out of Hours Clinical coordinators.

LPFT provides a range of mental health community and inpatient services for all ages from Children and Young People, Working age and Older Adult services in Lincolnshire and North East Lincolnshire. We work closely with the local Authority and neighboring Trusts to support the Mental Health needs of our population. With a current CQC rating of “Good” and high levels of service user and staff involvement, this is an exciting time for LPFT, as we continue on our journey of service improvement, undergoing a range of service transformations and delivering high standards of care for our patients.

The successful candidate will be an experienced clinician who will already have a strong working knowledge of Mental Health, learning disability and autism.

The role aims to support services with out of hour’s clinical leadership and advice on a wide range of issues, such as bed management, staffing, admission reduction and to ensure that delivery of effective patient care continues during the night working hours, weekends and bank holidays.

This is a role that will cover a 365 day per year.

The post holder will act as Bronze Command for LPFT and ensure that a senior clinician is available 24/7 to provide clinical leadership and decision making.

The role will work across a wide range of services including acute inpatient, PCDU, CRHT’s, Older adults, CAMHS to provide professional support and advice and to also be a point of contact for external agencies’ such as ULHT, Police, Emergency Duty Team and the LPFT on-call manager and executive on-call.
