Run by Practice Plus Group, we are a family-friendly NHS doctor’s surgery with 10,000 registered patients, Sexual Health Service and Walk In Service locate across 2 modern premises (100 meters apart). The services provide the community of Brighton and Hove with treatment and advice for a range of minor illnesses and injuries, long term conditions and sexual health concerns. The walk in service is open every day of the week from 8am-8pm, including Bank Holidays.
We have a well-established team of salaried GPs, ANPs, Prescribing Pharmacist, Mental Health Nurse, Practice Nurses and HCAs.
The Practice is an active member of the Primary Care Network and involved in new projects to change the delivery of Primary Care.
We have an excellent clinical and administrative team who are very approachable, friendly and welcoming.
Due to the services we have and access 365 days from 8am- 8pm, we are fortunate to provide flexible working hours.
We are rated GOOD by CQC and high QOF achievers.
We use the clinical system EMIS Web.
We are looking for someone who is or able to work towards being a lead in a clinical area- education, chronic disease management of diabetes and asthma.
Main duties would include:
- Clinical consultations via face to face, telephone or online
- Prescribing as appropriate
- Home visits where appropriate (max 5 a year)
- Shared on call duties as per rota
- Assist the practice in completion of QOF and other projects
- Clinical admin as per a shared rota
- Completing of medical reports

- MRCGP qualification
- On Performers list
- GMC register
