We have an exciting opportunities for a Fabric Working Supervisor to join our Projects Minor Works Team within our Property Department. This is an exciting opportunity based at our Head Office in Central London with a competitive salary on offer.

Job Description

As a key member of the Minor Works team you will responsible for supervising and carrying out Minor Works Refurbishment within all of the Clinic operated sites.

  • Job Type: Full Time, permanent position.
  • Hours: The shift pattern for this role will be worked within a 4 days on 4 days off shift pattern of 12 hour shifts from 7am to 7pm or 7pm to 7am with 1 hour for lunch.
  • Location: The London Clinic Administration Building, 1 Park Square West, London, NW1 4LJ

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Carry out minor refurbishment works in accordance with drawings and specifications supplied.
  • Supervise fabric operatives and contractors on minor works projects, scheduling, prioritising and monitoring the quality of their work.
  • Work in accordance with industry standards, building regulations and TLC policies.
  • Procure and manage stock and materials in a timely manner as required to ensure works are completed on time.
  • Organise and oversee the work of external contractors where required

Skills & Experience

  • Experience as working supervisor on minor works refurb in a healthcare environment.
  • Experience in woodworking and carpentry.
  • A robust knowledge of general refurbishment works.
  • Understanding of current building regulations and particularly in the application of HTMs.
  • Good awareness of health & safety legislation and experience of working to safe systems of work.
  • Experience of preparing method statements and risk assessments.
