We have an exciting opportunity for a Security Officer to join our Security Department here at The London Clinic. This role is based at our main hospital site in Central London (close to Regents Park & Baker Street tube stations) with a competitive salary on offer of up to £26,500 per annum.

Job Description

As a key member of the Security team you will be responsible for providing a uniformed specialist service, ensuring that patients, visitors and staff are given advice and provided with a safe and secure environment in line with legislation and particularly in emergency situations.

  • Job Type: Full Time, permanent position.
  • Hours: 42 hours per week; 4 shifts on, 4 shifts off; 24/7; Monday to Sunday. Days & Nights 12 hourr shifts.
  • Location: The London Clinic Main Hospital - 20 Devonshire Place, London, W1G 6BW.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Ensure the safety and security of all persons and properties at The London Clinic, and to promote a safe environment and reduce the fear of crime by providing a high profile visible presence.
  • Ensure all security policies and procedures of The London Clinic are followed and adhered to.
  • Carry out patrols and provide escorts as requested.
  • Undertake cash run’s in line with the Security Operating Procedures (SOP’s).
  • Provide a prompt response to any security incidents in line with the SOP’s.


Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience workingin a Corporate Security/Customer service environment.
  • Strong relationship building skills with both internal and external stakeholders, up to and including senior level staff.
  • Able to demonstrate a professional approach at all times and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent communication skills with strong problem solving acumen.
