Birmingham Women’s and Children’s NHS Trust has set some stretching priorities to improve the experience of staff, and particularly those from protected characteristics.

We are looking for someone to take a key role in the Trust in relation to Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion, supporting the Head of EDI to develop the EDI framework. The postholder will be required to provide specialist guidance and information to senior staff, internal networks, and staff side colleagues, as well as supporting all staff, strategic partners, and service users, including patients and carers.

It is essential that the postholder is qualified to degree level in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience, as well as evidence of ongoing CPD with a particular focus on Equality, Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging. A working knowledge of equality frameworks and benchmarking along with strong communication skills is essential.
