The Cornwall Speech and Language Therapy service has an exciting new opportunity for an experienced Band 6 Paediatric Speech and Language Therapist to join our West Cornwall Team . The post is made up of 2 days allocated to our new Request for Help Team where the post holder will be taking calls from parents and professionals leading to the provision of advice or a referral . The post will be based in Camborne Health Office and some working from home is also possible . Clinically it will cover schools , home visits and clinic appointments in the Camborne area . You will join and existing team based at Camborne Health Office and have access to regular supervision and support.

The post has a caseload of preschool and school age children with a wide range of speech language and communication needs.

The SLT Service has a range of continuing development opportunities ranging from individual to service wide training and journal clubs. We have embraced recent technological advances and provide a mixture of face to face and teletherapy .There is also access to a range of specialist SLT practitioners for advice and support. You will have access to a comprehensive induction ,regular supervision and support and local team meetings.
