We provide Talking Therapies at multiple locations across Surrey and Consultant-led Outpatient Services at Dorking Hospital and Holmhurst Medical Centre, Redhill. We have an excellent reputation for a quality and well-run service with great recovery rates as well as great Clinical supervision, CPD and career opportunities. In all of our services, we aim to put the patient at the centre of their care, make sure our services are easy to access by local patients and reduce waiting times for patients. IAPT Locality Manager
DHC is going through an exciting period of growth and this is a fantastic opportunity to really make your mark. Following on from the succes of Locality Manager for our Srep 3 Team, we are now recruiting for an experienced manager to join and support the continuing development of our IAPT Talking Therapies team, focussing primarily on Step 2 (Psychological wellbeing Practitioners). The location will be within Surrey and can be mutally agreed. Full time is preferable but part time applications will be considered. The successful candidate will provide line management to a multi-disciplinary team of therapists within a geographical location, and have the ability to lead, grow and inspire the team to ensure they deliver high quality psychological interventions and work collaboratively to improve organisational performance.
This is an additional Management and Leadership role supporting the Service Manager and Clinical Team Leads to deliver an exceptional quality, cost effective IAPT service and to meet performance targets against quality and productivity measures. The successful candidate needs to have proven, strong managerial skills, be highly motivated to deliver change, have the ability to create new relationships through networking and be focused on finding solutions to issues. You will also need excellent interpersonal and organisational skills, be able to work flexibly, calmly and efficiently and you will need to be well-versed in using Microsoft Office packages.

Responsibility for Service Delivery and development for a defined therapist group, working closely with our existing locality Managers
To provide highly effective people management including Line Management responsibilities
Support the development of the operational aspects of service development
To be an innovator who embraces change and strives for excellence
Deputise for the Service Manager or Clinical Lead (as appropriate) when required
