We have an exciting opportunities for a Storekeeper to join our Procurement Team within our Finance Department. This is an exciting opportunity based at our Head Office in Central London with a competitive salary on offer of £27,339 per annum.

Job Description

As a key member of the Procurement Team you will be responsible for checking incoming goods to the London Clinic against delivery notes and purchase orders, booking in deliveries, dealing with suppliers regarding errors or incorrect quantities and managing supplier returns.


  • Job Type: Full Time, permanent position.
  • Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday – 8am-4.30pm.
  • Location: The London Clinic Administration Building, 1 Park Square West, London, NW1 4LJ

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Maintain a timed programme of replenishment orders as required, picking stock against picklists and requisitions and delivering to departments such that all Wards/Departments receive the service they require in a manner that the Supply Chain Manager can ensure that this service is sustained irrespective of contingencies such as leave and sickness.
  • Maintain adequate stock levels in all locations and carry out checks of “par stock levels” both in Central Stores and around the London Clinic as directed by the Stores Manager or Senior Stores Supervisor.
  • Carrying out daily checks in key areas using hand held tablets to ensure previously agreed stock levels are maintained.  This should be done through “exchange cart” functionality and recorded on the system.
  • Undertaking rolling stock checks of stocks held throughout the London Clinic and reporting and discrepancies found.
  • Assist with stock level reviews of inventory products at ward/department level.  Be able to run reports to support the review process.


Skills & Experience

  • Experience in a Stores or Purchasing environment.
  • Comprehensive knowledge and experience of stores procedures including: Stock Rotation, Stocktaking, Stock Replenishments and Returns.
  • Ability to reach timely and effective decisions based on the appropriate use of information.
  • Evidence of ability to prioritise and plan own work.
  • Good organisation skills and a logical approach to work.
