Bank Staff Nurse - Theatre and General Ward - Band 5

Staffing Solutions provide motivated, reliable staff to cover temporary vacancies or shortfalls at the Royal United Hospitals Bath NHS Foundation Trust (RUH). The bank team are currently recruiting Nurses, RMNs for inpatient areas, Paediatric staff and Theatre Practitioners.

NURSES/RMNs

The RUH is an acute hospital and our Bank staff are in-demand across wards and out-patient areas. For registered mental health nurses, the demand is with 1-1 support of patients throughout various wards as and when required, dealing with patients who have challenging behaviours.

We are currently looking for both General Nurses and Mental Health Nurses to join our team. You will work in various locations throughout the Trust.

These shifts include:

Early shifts: 0700 -1300 or 0730-1330

Late shifts: 1400-2000

Long days: 0700-1930 or 0730-2000

Night shifts: 1900-0730 or 1930-0800

You will have to be qualified with the appropriate NMC registration and have relevant acute hospital nursing experience
.

INTENSIVE CARE UNIT

We are currently seeking to recruit Band 5 bank staff nurses to join out 27 bedded Intensive Care /High Dependency unit spread over two units within the hospital.

Have you completed the national step 1 competency programme or have an equivalent qualification?

Recent experience in the critical care setting?

We are keen to hear from you!!

If you are successful you would be expected to complete the trust ANTT, IV drug competencies, Arterial competencies and any additional trust based competencies. (These can be passported across from different Trusts).

Additional training will be available including Fresenius haemodialysis training, the transport course and other teaching sessions on offer from our practice education team.

THEATRES

We are looking for Operating Department Practitioners, Scrub Nurses and Anaesthetic Assistants with a minimum of 6 months experience in the Operating Theatre Department to join our bank.

We are able to offer excellent development opportunities in specialties including General Surgery, ENT, Orthopaedics, Trauma, Gynaecology, Urology and Obstetrics. We have regular and occasional work to suit your needs and can offer flexible working patterns – Shifts will be generally 8-6 Monday to Friday with the possibility of working unsocial, nights and weekends depending on experience– so you can work around other commitments.

As a new bank member we will also provide you with up to 4 supervised shifts.

SUN/BH 60% =£30.98
