Consultant Posts in General Adult Psychiatry

We are seeking consultant psychiatrist to work in our General Adult Community Psychiatry Services. The roles are full-time and are based in North and East Cornwall. You will work alongside other consultant psychiatrists to deliver an exciting new model of collaborative locality based mental health care in our Integrated Care Areas.

As a Trust, we want our doctors to work at their full potential. For this reason, we are offering new appointees the chance to extend their development. If you want to undertake a further qualification, undertake research or involve yourself in our transformation, we are happy to consider a flexible SPA offer above the standard 2.5 SPAs to enable study, such as:

  • MBA
  • Leadership development
  • Psychotherapy qualifications
  • PGCE
  • Research

We are a cohesive and collaborative senior medical group and we enjoy a range of academic opportunities through links with Exeter and Plymouth Universities. We have an excellent monthly local CPD programme. Clinically, we work in a continuity model of care and protect our SPAs. As trainers, we have high trainee satisfaction and great exam success.
