In addition to transplantation, Royal Papworth Hospital has the UK’s largest Respiratory Support and Sleep Centre (RSSC) and is one of five UK centres providing Extra Corporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO) to patients experiencing severe respiratory failure. It is also the only centre in the UK for a number of specialist services including Pulmonary Endarterectomy and Balloon Pulmonary Angioplasty (BPA).

Advert Team Leader Cardiology

Full time 37.50 hours

An exciting opportunity has arisen in our Cardiology Booking Team, within Clinical Administration.

You will need experience of managing, motivating and developing a team all whilst managing competing and challenging deadlines. You should also be able to analyse, interpret & present the data required within this team. You should have a good understanding of RTT and patient pathways.

You should be able to work with key stakeholders to help drive service improvements within clinical admin but also the wider cardiology division and possess excellent communication skills.

You will need to be resilient, flexible to changing daily priorities and remain calm under pressure. In return you will receive an excellent support network, training opportunities and a real chance to excel within a highly motivated team.

The role will be based at Royal Papworth House, Huntingdon, but there may be an occasional requirement to be able to work at the Cambridge Biomedical Campus.
