InHealth Intelligence has been and continues to be a proud supporter of the Diabetic Eye Screening Programmes across NHS England and since 2011, InHealth Intelligence has grown to offer fully managed services across the country. To increase efficiency, we also built our own software system which enables us to adapt and change to meet the requirements our employees to achieve a better user experience.

We are currently looking for a Stakeholder & Quality Assurance Manager to be responsible for the collation and reports production relating to the quality assurance and performance of the programme and to act as Deputy Programme Manager.

Further to this, you’ll also be responsible for promotions and community engagement activities to ensure good coverage, increase uptake and participation with an emphasis on hard to reach groups.

Key Duties:

  • Collate and produce reports on the performance, audit and Internal Quality Assurance aspects of the programme including Service Quality Standards, Key Performance Indicators and Contractual Performance/Activity reports
  • Assist the Programme Manager in the completion and dissemination of the screening and grading schedule including the staff rota
  • To draft and advise on the co-production, development and revision of the programme’s Communication & Stakeholder Engagement Strategy and plan ensuring it is effectively implemented
  • To implement, co-ordinate and arrange the professional and patient engagement structures/forums required to support effective engagement in the programme
  • Design, develop and implement appropriate consultation activities specific too hard to reach groups, including using workshops and focus groups, with key stakeholders on specific issues, proposed service changes and improvements that will gather intelligence and insight, which will help ensure the service meets the individual and group needs of the Programme’s diverse population

What you will need to succeed in this role:

  • Educated to A level or equivalent Qualifications and or training/experience of Management, Marketing and/or Public Communication
  • Experience of working within Community Engagement/ development functions
  • Partnership development
  • Evidence of continuing professional development
  • Strong people management skills 
  • Presentation and excellent communication skills
  • Diabetic Retinopathy Screening Diploma would be desirable
  • Experience working within or alongside the NHS would be beneficial
