SISTER/CHARGE NURSE

RESPIRATORY CARE UNIT

£32,306 - £39,027 per annum/pro rata (AfC Band 6)

37.5 hours per week - PERMANENT

 

The Respiratory Care Unit is looking for a permanent Band 6 who is highly motivated and committed individual with experience of working within the Respiratory speciality. In our 7 bedded Respiratory Care Unit we care for a wide variety of acutely ill patients, with many Patients requiring NIV, CPAP and Airvo. In addition, they may have Invasive Line Monitoring such as Arterial and Central Lines. This band 6 nurse role will consist of providing expert respiratory nursing care to these complex patients and lead by example in compassionate and quality care.

The successful candidate will be required to take charge of the Unit and lead a team of our junior staff with their learning and developmental needs. We will expect you to accommodate a flexible shift pattern, have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to manage time, prioritise workload along with the ability to work under pressure.

Standard Check: £23.00 + Administration cost of £3.69 = deduction from salary as a one off payment.

Enhanced Check: £40.00 + administration cost of £3.69 = £13.69 deduction from 1st months’ salary, £10.00 deduction from salary over following 3 months.
