Hours: 30 hours Monday – Friday and are flexible depending on the needs of the candidate

From 1 April 2022 it will become a legal requirement for frontline health and social care staff who have direct, face-to-face contact with patients/service users to provide evidence of a complete course of an authorised COVID-19 vaccine unless they are exempt. This requirement also extends to non-clinical staff not directly involved in patient/service user care, but who may have direct, face-to-face contact with patients/service users in the course of their work. Please note that applicants who fall within the scope of the legal requirements will be asked to evidence their vaccination status, or valid exemption, as part of the recruitment process.

We have a temporary placement opportunity available for a clinical audit officer at Royal Oldham Hospital. They will be providing the following support to the Clinical Audit team.

  • Manage the location and if required the retrieval of healthcare records across various sites and systems for clinical audit purposes.
  • Support the clinical audit team by undertaking administration duties as required.
  • To undertake word processing tasks
  • To circulate essential clinical audit information Trust-wide
  • To input data onto a variety of computer software databases
  • To work between the Trust sites and any other Trust premises as and when required

Skills required

  • Excellent Admin Skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent Microsoft package skills (Excel)
  • Great attention to detail and accuracy is a must
  • Knowledge of PAS is desirable

 

The Royal Oldham hospital is located close to the town centre and is easily accessible via both car and public transport. There is on-site parking (fees will apply). It has an onsite cafe and restaurant where staff are eligible for a discount. The hospital also has on site shops.
