A Team Leader role within our Patient Transport Service (PTS) is now available. The role will be based at our Basingstoke Resource Centre.

Our Patient Transport Service is a pivotal role within SCAS, providing safe and efficient transport of patients to and from healthcare settings and their home.

As a Team Leader you will be responsible for the day-to-day supervision and management of a team of Ambulance Care Assistants (ACAs) who work on the Patient Transport Service.

This will involve the management of personnel, monitoring performance management, sickness and annual leave, following relevant HR Policies and Procedures.

You will be familiar with and adhere to service plans, policies, procedures and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

In addition, you will need to resolve any localised fleet issues and maintain stations in prepared readiness and for auditing.

The successful candidate will provide leadership and management direction to the operational teams of ACAs. You will work closely with the Senior Operations Manager to ensure that service delivery maintains the standards required as per our contractual arrangements and Service Level Agreements.

The successful candidate will be an ambassador for the Trust, and in particular PTS, assisting in the development of close working relationships with our users.
