If you enjoy working with people and are you interested in working alongside physiotherapists within a hospital setting this could be the job for you.

We are looking for a capable and adaptable individual to join our friendly Neurological Rehabilitation Physiotherapy team at the Leicester General Hospital for 37.5 hours each week. The Specialist Neurological Rehabilitation Unit provides high level clinical input to complex patients with Neurological conditions including Brain Injuries. The rehab team is composed of Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Speech and Language Therapists, Psychologists, specialist nurses and rehab consultants.

You will need to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will need to be motivated, organised and able to work on your own initiative and as part of a team. You will need to have had experience of working with a variety of different people. Clerical experience and the ability to use computers are desirable in these posts, as some administrative and clerical duties are involved.
Previous experience in therapy is desirable, however work experience in a healthcare setting will be considered if appropriate. There will be a programme of development to be undertaken to develop you into the role that will need to be completed in your first 18 months in post.

You will receive a comprehensive Trust and departmental induction, regular supervision and annual appraisal and a training programme to support your development.
